The HK LED module and finned heat-sink, feature conical mating surfaces that increase contact for maximum heat transference away from temperature sensitive LEDs. As heat is pulled from LED module to heat-sink, the finned surface increases the wetted area (or area exposed to air) and allows heat to dissipate in an efficient and rapid manner.
