Lakeshore Park

Lakeshore Park is a 185-acre public space perched above the Tennessee River, offering sweeping views of the Smoky Mountains. Its recent transformation showcases a thoughtful balance of civic function, ecological restoration, and community wellness.
Phase 2, led by Sanders Pace Architecture and Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects, introduced new civic structures, restored woodlands, winding trails, and a signature central promenade. Tillett Lighting Design played a key role in extending the park’s experience into the evening, guiding circulation, revealing textures, and enhancing atmosphere without overpowering the landscape.
Several HK Lighting architectural outdoor fixtures were selected for their discreet, high-performance output. ZXL20-I Accent Lights in a Pole Mounted configuration provide secure, effective path and area lighting throughout the grounds. ZWL16-I Wall Mount fixtures and ZXL11 Accent Lights in custom ceiling mount configurations were used in the portico areas to illuminate walkways and gathering spaces.
HK Lighting’s luminaires help reinforce the park’s vision of quiet elegance, lasting durability, and environmental sensitivity.
